Flash error appears in non-browser environments when changing volume

Description

Steps to replicate:

  1. Player in Flash mode in a browser with JavaScript disabled, or non-browser environment
  2. Change player volume
  3. Player will display a Flash runtime error (ExternalInterface not available)
