Description (last modified by jeroen) (diff)
YT Captions seem accessible now, using the Captions API.
We should investigate whether it's also possible to retrieve captions anonymously and directly from a video key.

Unfortunately, captions are not publicly accessible. Only account owners can query captions, using the YT Data API.
For now we're out of luck, but we should keep an eye on the YT data API, to see if captions are made publicly available.
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.

YT captions are not available through their API (yet), so this isn't possible (at present).
