Change Log¶
This page lists all changes that have been made to the API since its first installment. The API will remain backward-compatible (with the exception of bug fixes).
v1.28 2013-04-10¶

- New API calls:
- Added captions, ga_web_property_id and sharing_player_key request and response parameters in the calls:
- Changed sharing parameter options in the calls.
- Value of the repeat request parameter in /players/create call is now defaults to list instead of none.
- Removed hd_template_key request parameter in the calls:
- Removed //player/hd_template response parameter in the /players/show call.
- Maximum value of the result_limit request parameter is automatically forced to 1000 in all /*/list calls.
- Vorbis audio conversion is now uses Ogg container instead of WebM. Documentation for the following calls has been updated to reflect the change:
- It is now possible to update required conversion templates using /accounts/templates/update call. All parameters except default and upscale can be updated.
- Removed editable response parameter in the calls:
v1.19 2011-11-08¶
- Content Server will only return the first 100 entries in a manual or dynamic playlist when the playlist is embedded or published as an RSS feed. Total number of videos returned by the /channels/videos/list API call remains unlimited.
